I worked retail for three years of high school, and I absolutely hated it. Coworkers were nice; customers could be nicer. What really pushed me off the edge each year was Black Friday. During this time I would work double shifts, as most employees do. We were pretty much stuck in one place for a miserable amount of time. Fortunately, malls are extremely versatile, with all their furniture stores and fast food. But camping there is easier said than done. I've compiled all my retail pain and experience into one quirky book. I am not a professional writer, but I love to create. High school, illustration jobs, and an online shop is a handful, especially after adding a full-color picture book to the list. Although I worked rigorously, it was an incredibly fun experience. I absolutely adore animals, more so drawing them. To help heal the homes of wild animals, 50% of profits will be donated to the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).
