Author Information

The author has worked as an engineer, parish minister (of the liberal Presbyterian persuasion) and high school teacher. After an initial breakdown he worked for a number of years as a professional bottom wiper in aged care hospitals. He has degrees in Engineering, Divinity, Psychology and Philosophy (2). Following a second breakdown he has devoted himself to self care, philosophy and writing. He lives on his own in the port city of Timaru on the Eastern seaboard of New Zealand's South Island. He has two adult daughters and two grandchildren. He no longer has anything to do with the Presbyterian Church.
