Dennis Thomison (PhD, University of Southern California), Associate Professor of Library Science and Reference Librarian at USC, has had articles published in Library Journal, Journal of Education for Librarianship, Journal of Library History, and Library Quarterly and has written or edited four books, including The History of the American Library Association, 1876-1972 (ALA, 1978).
