OverviewSince the beginning of time, people have wanted to know how it all began. How did our Earth come to be in the state it is today? How did natural forces effect the Earth? This book is part of a series called The Continental Cataclysm that addresses these questions. The series starts with looking at how the Solar System formed and gave birth to our Earth. Observations from the Hubble Telescope and NASA space probes provide evidence that the beginning of a solar system starts with a nebula that turns into a swirling flat disc. A specific nebula, a gigantic cloud of atoms, is where the new theory presented in this book starts. This new theory, Mass Vortex Theory, also includes a swirling flat disc. but in almost every other way, the explanation is a departure from anything advanced so far. It explains the features of our Solar System, including the distances between planets, their spins, their densities, their axial tilts, how their respective atmospheres formed, where Saturn's rings came from, how Jupiter's red spot really occurred, the origin of Earth's ocean, how Earth's moon became present, and how the Sun started. This book presents new ideas to advance our understanding of planet formation and what happened to bring about the Solar System as we know it today. It is tailored to a broad audience with lots of pictures. Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationAuthor Sally Seaver has bachelor degrees in Social Science, Math and Physics plus training in mathematical logic from the Univ. of California at Irvine [UCI], graduating in 1988. As a student at UCI, Sally discovered some issues that she thought were problematic for science: 1) defining space as the set of all points when a point itself has no distance or direction-distance and direction being critical for space 2) the handling of infinitely-many things using only the concepts countably-many and uncountably-many 3) major problems with Set Theory and its role as the foundation of Math, especially when Math provides the rigor (and language) for all science. As an independent scholar, Sally did full-time research during 1994 - 1996, developing work to replace the Predicate Calculus (as a formal theory about theories). This system of ideas called Place is set forth in a paper entitled Place of Understanding. Then she developed a new theoretical foundation for Math that conformed to the standards for a clear, consistent theory as set forth in Place. This new foundation, called 1/+ Theory defines new numbers and operations while providing a better theoretical foundation for known numbers. In 2003, Sally sketched out the beginnings of a new theory for Geometry: Space/Cut Theory and for Physics: Massfluid-Time-Space Theory, then did a presentation for public-access TV, covering her work up to that time. Work on The Birth of the Earth started in September 2013. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
