CAROL SAMA SHEEHAN was editor in chief of Country Home magazine, a national shelter magazine with a circulation of 1.2 million, from 1997 to 2007. The couple lives in western Massachusetts. KATHRYN GEORGE PRECOURT is a magazine editor and interior designer whose freelance designs and editorial work have appeared frequently in magazines. She and her husband live in Massachusetts. WILLIAM STITES is a widely published photographer whose work has appeared in numerous magazines including House Beautiful, Better Homes & Gardens, Family Circle, GQ, Esquire, and Woman's Day.
