Author Information

Dean Pitchford starred on Broadway in Godspell and Pippin before turning to songwriting. His songs, which include Fame, Let's Hear It for the Boy and Footloose, have sold over seventy million records. He has been nominated for four Academy Awards(R) (winning Best Original Song for Fame ), five Grammys, and two Tonys. His screen-plays include Footloose and Sing, and his stage musical adaptation of Footloose is now being produced around the world. The Big One-Oh is Dean's first novel.
