Though Donald Trump had won this pivotal state in a close contest against Hilary Clinton in 2016, the state flipped back to the Democrats in 2020 in an election distinguished by the introduction of no-excuse mail-in voting. Quantitative analysis is a core component of the discussion-a multifaceted exploration of mail-in voting patterns. The quantitative discussion is merged with an examination of contextual and circumstantial details. The kinds of irregularities that ""no-excuse"" mail-in voting may facilitate are considered as well.
