Author Information

Michael Van Hecke, a UNC alumnus, is the author of Forgiveness Reiki: Hands-On Healing Distance Healing and Prayer with Both Reiki and The Holy Spirit (2nd Ed.). and Inviting Happiness: Exploring the Reiki Precepts. He co-founded Amplified Prayer Therapy with Horace Bush, MSW. He has both practiced and taught The Jesus Healing System as well as Usui, Karuna, Lightarian, and Forgiveness Reiki. He is active in the Davidson United Methodist Men's Golf League, Methodist Disaster Response teams, and The Navigators Sunday School class. His website, ForgivenessReiki.com, provides free stories of real life forgiveness for youth groups and/or Sunday School classes. Michael is a happily married dad.
