Author of over forty books, including poetry collections in English and Irish, as well as children's verse, he has been compared to Burns for his insight and lyricism. A former chair and literary advisor of Listowel Writers' Week, he hosts his own show on Kerry Radio and is a committee member of Éigse Michael Hartnett.
