With over 35 years working in and collaborating with schools and various agencies, including a special school for children experiencing social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH), John has established himself as an expert in his field. His qualifications include a BA (Hons), B. Phil in Education and NPQH. John’s career has been centred around working with children and young people facing a spectrum of challenges, including social, emotional, mental health, relational, and behavioural issues. He has held several senior management positions in schools and other settings, including a local authority. In all of these positions, John has been instrumental in providing strategic direction and developing policy in regard to behaviour support services. Renowned as an experienced trainer, John has an excellent reputation for designing and delivering courses that provide theoretical insights and are deeply rooted in the practical application of behaviour support techniques. John’s expertise extends to being an experienced Team Teach trainer for nearly two decades and he is currently a Principal Team Teach Trainer.
