The C# programming language from Microsoft is one of the most popular programming languages in the world. Not only a great introduction to C# but also to programming in general! Very easy to read and comprehend with all of the steps needed beginning with the machine set up - something that many lessons leave out. I really enjoy the format and all of the visual aids to help illustrate the lessons. The exercises on each topic are a great manual to learn by doing to really drive home the concepts. This is definitely one of the first books I'd recommend to the beginner students who I mentor.
