Overview

The BEAR FROM AUNT is a series of graphic journals featuring the super-bear-spy Stanley and his fellow spies doing whatever they can to stop evil geniuses from taking over the world! Stanley and his Bear From AUNT friends are back! Having just finished another case, Stanley and the team begin training Tyler to be a full-fledged spy. During his training, however, Tyler begins to feel sick, and learns he is about to change from a caterpillar. When an unsavory group finds out Tyler is about to transition into a new form, they take the law into their own hands. Suddenly, AUNT has a new mission and it's to find and save one of their own. It's all hands (hooves?) on deck as Percie, Shakes, and even Mr. Leo join the team to help find Tyler. Can Stanley and his team track down Tyler before the danger gets too intense?

Author Information

J. Robert Deans has doodled all of his life. During his nearly ten-year career selling comics, he started drawing them with CRASS FED, a webcomic featuring his signature sense of humor. Wondering what was next after being laid off, a silly idea struck: a cow lost in space. That idea became MOO THOUSAND AND PUN, which was the first in the Shakes the Cow series of children's picture books. Spy adventures for young readers followed with the BEAR FROM AUNT graphic novel series. Deans also collaborates on books and toys with his wife and Kidlet for their Deans Family Productions. J.
