Author Information

George Forty lives in Dorset. A career soldier with the Royal Tank Regiment, he acted as curator of the Tank Museum at Bovington after active service. Now retired, he is the author of many well-respected and successful books, a number of which have been published by Ian Allan Publishing. His works for the company include Fortress Europe, Channel Islands at War, The Battle for Malta and The Battle of Crete.
