Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationThe author who is an academic chemist by profession, first at the College of Petroleum and Minerals, at Dhahran Saudi Arabia and then University of Kuwait in Kuwait, found himself at loose ends in 1990 after the occupation of Kuwait. He started reading philosophical and theological subjects and got interested in the development of the concept of the deity in the East Mediterranean region. Eventually the book 'The Qur'an, an Introduction' was published by Routledge, London and New York in the year 2000. Further readings led him eventually to the development of the learning process in the human being utilising the process of the mind, which in Arabic is called 'Al'ql'. This is achieved by what the Qur'an calls 'Al-Qalb'. This is the process of literally 'turning over and over' until satisfaction is achieved.
