The Baker's Joy: Children's Book for Effective Decision-Making & Leadership Skills

Overview

"About the Book As a young boy, Terrance grew to love the art and skill of baking due to his grandmother. Upon his new adventure to bake, he was stopped by environmental and cultural stereotypes that made him question his gifts and talents for baking. Terrance continued his journey and found the community that gave him the push to pursue his dreams and create opportunities for those around him, all with special thanks to his grandmother and college friends. About the Author Terrell T.L. Nelson is the Executive Director of the Florida Council on the Social Status of Black Men and Boys. He is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He holds degrees from Florida A&M University and Duquesne University, and he is currently enrolled in Saint Thomas University's Ph.D. program. Terrell serves as an Ordained minister at Truth Gatherers Dream Center church, a life coach, and a personal caterer and baker. He currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida with his wife Alexis Nicole Nelson and they both believe in the power of living your authentic and spiritual truth. This book was inspired by Terrell's personal story, and as he always says, ""Gifts and talents have no gender."""
