Overview

If you have read any histories about Abraham Lincoln, you probably read that Lincoln was a great man and just about everything he did was great. Well, the details of his life don't match up to his almost godlike personality told in those books. Lincoln did some good things, but we should not ignore the rest of his life and we should not give him godlike status when none is due him. This is a different look at Abraham Lincoln. It looks at the other side of Abraham Lincoln so that we can see him more clearly and our history doesn't have to be clouded with fabrications to make him a hero. If you are looking for praise about Lincoln, this is not the book for you. It is greatly skewed towards the things he did To America rather than what he might have done for America.
