Overview
Dawn Schafer is the newest member of The Baby-sitters Club. While she's still adjusting to life in Stoneybrook after moving from sunny California, she's eager to accept her first big job. But taking care of the three Barrett kids would be too much for any baby-sitter. The house is always a mess, the kids are out of control, and Mrs. Barrett never does any of the things she promises. Ann M. Martin's The Baby-Sitters Club series has over 176 million copies in print worldwide and inspired a generation of young readers. Her novels include the Main Street series; Belle Teal; the Newbery Honor book A Corner of the Universe; Here Today; A Dog's Life; and On Christmas Eve; as well as the much-loved collaborations P.S. Longer Letter Later and Snail Mail, No More with Paula Danziger. She lives in upstate New York. Gale Galligan is a graduate of NYU and the Savannah College of Art and Design.
