Each page is a portal-into lush landscapes of myth and dream, into whispered secrets that slip between shadow and light. Sensual, daring, and unapologetically queer, these poems revel in the body and the spirit alike. From erotica that smolders with intimacy to surreal visions that awaken wonder, this book is both spell and celebration-a feast for every sense. Surrender to the journey. Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationAngela Psalm (@angela_psalm) is a Melbourne, Australia-based poetess who started writing at the tender age of 10 years old in her journals to make sense of her emotions and social landscape. Has begun her own independent publishing/publication house, ""The Dungeon Keep Atheneum Pty Ltd"".While traversing through her love of sci-fi fantasy adventure books, particularly books on Arthurian Legend, particularly Marion Zimmer Bradley's retelling 'Mists of Avalon', Jane Austen collections, she found her love of sonnets in Shakespeare, and the incredible Bronte Sisters in her mournful sadness. While still very much in love with writing, she gave up after she was told that she would never succeed by a Mentor at the age of twenty. While crushed, she stopped writing. During that period away from writing, she continued to consume books, losing herself in their stories and journeys while she went into a career in Holistic energy work and remedial massage, as well as business. But during the COVID lockdown, she found herself back into journal writing, trying to find herself, but instead of losing herself in the darkness, she used it as a tool to find herself again in writing. On Instagram in August 2020, a platform of belonging/sympatico, she found lifelong friends and an all-encompassing love of poetry, reading other poets' words. While her writing style can be dark and/or sensual, it's only in search of light. In July 2024, she published her debut poetry book, ""Dacite, Darkness and Divinities Dialogue (Poetry in the Mourn/Morn) via Amazon, Ingram, and has an Etsy shop for signed copies. Sara J. is an American-born poetess, writer, and artist. Her love for writing began at the young age of 10, when she used to think up stories as a calming mechanism. Escaping into fantastical realms and vibrant celestial universes. As she got older, her love for the macabre became more apparent. Falling in love with the tragic works of Edgar Allen Poe. From the glorious Raven to the devilish dark Tell-Tale Heart. Her tastes continued to evolve into young adulthood with the likes of Stephen King and Anne Rice. The inspirations shaping her writing not only came from books but also from horror movies and gothic/heavy metal. Enriching her poetry with darkness and grim undertones. She started writing poetry in late summer of 2020 as a release from being a caregiver. As she found her community on Instagram, she became more confident in her craft. Trying new forms and eventually finding her voice. After the death of her nana, she also began expressing her feelings with abstract painting and graphic design. Thus, finding more of her true potential. Her writing can be found on Instagram @imm8rtal_ink, and her art can be found on Instagram @gothrulzart Billie J. is a Somali-born poet, writer, and storyteller who sought refuge in London after fleeing civil war with their family. Despite the challenges of adapting to a new culture, dealing with learning difficulties, and facing racism, Billie discovered a love for poetry in English classes, drawing inspiration from writers like William Alford, Maya Angelou, and William Shakespeare. However, it wasn't until her late twenties that Billie fully learned to read and write effectively, and at 33, she was diagnosed with autism-a realisation that brought clarity to her experiences. Since arriving in England, Billie has not travelled physically, but her imagination allows them to explore vast landscapes within their mind. As a ""nomadic wordsmith,"" Billie's work blends lyrical beauty with deep introspection, crafting poetry that balances the external world with their inner reflections. Billie uses rich metaphors and alliteration to create emotional landscapes that invite readers to journey with them, offering a mirror to their lives and a window into universal truths. Her poetry often explores themes of love, relationships, sensuality, and existentialism, mixing lightness with hints of darkness. Billie is also part of @saba_poetry_prompts, where she and three other creative writers collaborate to create engaging prompts. Billie has a child and a couple of cats who bring joy and comfort to their home. You can follow Billie's creative journey on Instagram at @nomadic_wordsmith_billie and @saba_poetry_prompts.
