Author Information

George Fredrick Muller (1805-1898), a Christian evangelist and director of orphanages in Bristol, England, cared for 10,024 orphans throughout his lifetime. He was well-known for providing an education to the children under his care, to the point where he was accused of raising the poor above their ""natural station in life."" In 1875 he began preaching tours that took him over two hundred thousand miles to forty-two different countries. Derek Perkins is a professional narrator and voice actor. He has narrated numerous titles across a wide range of genres, including fantasy, science fiction, mystery, comedy, history, and nonfiction. He has earned two AudioFile Earphones Awards and was a finalist for the 2015 Audie Award for Best Nonfiction Narration.
