Dr. Hernandez has assimilated the essence of Van Til's prepositional apologetic. Uncle Corny was not only my mentor in seminary days but a dear friend after seminary. Van Til's refutation of Natural theology's apologetics, based on humanistic assumptions, lives on with brothers like Dr. Hernandez. He demonstrates the inherent irrationality of modern atheism. This is refreshing. We live a politically correct culture that praises atheists for attacking belief in God, the Bible, Christianity, etc as morally evil and as a psychological illness. Yet, Christians are told to be pacifists and be nice. But the prophets were not nice, the apostles were not nice, and, most of all, Jesus was not nice. Ask the money changers whose tables he kicked over as He beat them a rope. As you read the arguments assembled by Dr. Hernandez, don't dismiss them because of his Reformation boldness. You cannot make scrambled eggs without cracking the shells. You won't get the attention of Atheists by throwing flowers at them. Dr. Sonny Hernandez is the director and apologist for Reforming America Ministries. He is actively involved in speaking at conferences nationwide, and participating in debates on various theological topics. He earned a doctorate from Tennessee Temple University, and is the author of several books.
