The Art of the Unignorable Email: How to combine AI and EQ to win the battle of the inbox

Overview

Your emails are being ignored. And it's killing your career. Every day you send carefully crafted messages into the digital void. They land in inboxes already groaning with 100+ unread emails. AI gatekeepers filter them as ""low priority"". Recipients skim the subject line and hit delete. Meanwhile that critical project stalls. That budget request goes unanswered. That brilliant idea dies in someone's spam folder. It's time to become unignorable! ""The Art of the Unignorable Email"" shows how the DNA framework that communications experts David Pullan and Sarah Jane McKechnie first wrote about in their Business Book of the Year shortlisted ""The DNA of Engagement"" can transform your written messages from inbox clutter to must-read communication that drives action. This isn't another boring business writing etiquette guide - it's your strategic competitive advantage in the attention economy. Inside you'll discover: Five powerful inversions of the DNA that match any business situation Before and after transformations that show exactly what works Ready to use templates for everything from crisis management to stakeholder buy-in Prompts that combine AI's efficiency with human emotional intelligence The ""Monday Morning Test"" that predicts if your email will be opened or ignored Ways to bypass the AI inbox guardians and connect with real humans This book bridges the gap between robotic AI-generated emails and time-consuming personal messages. In just 146 pages you will discover the secrets that will help you write powerful messages in minutes rather than hours, get responses rather than silence, and build your reputation as someone who gets things done. Stop hoping your emails get read. Start knowing they will. With specific advice on how to manage up, down and across, plus a bonus app that will tell you exactly which email to write when, this is the only email guide you will ever need. Reviews

""A must-read for anyone who's ever typed 'just touching base' and immediately regretted it. It is practical, punchy, smart, structured and mercifully free of corporate nonsense. This isn't just a book about email, it's a masterclass in influence. If you lead people, manage stakeholders, or just want your messages to land, read this. Then make your team read it too."" Flora Spink - Group Head of Culture and Engagement - Aviva ""This is a genius handbook that will change your reputation at work. David Pullan and Sarah Jane McKechnie show you not only how to craft emails that land and get the responses you need, but also what type of email to write when. Packed with brilliant, actionable guidance and smart shortcuts, this slender but incredibly wise book takes you from email hell to nirvana. If you want to be known as the person who gets stuff done and cement your reputation as someone who is smart and on top of things, look no further."" Charlotte Otter - author of Amazon Bestseller ""We Need New Leaders"" and podcast host of Speech Bubbles ""We all hope people read our emails. Most don't. This book shows you why - and what to do about it. With clarity, humour and practical tips, David and Sarah Jane turn email into real communication - not just inbox noise. Their DNA framework is sharp, simple and endlessly usable. If you write emails (i.e. if you breathe), read this. Then notice how many people actually reply."" Goran Serdarevic - Director at Frontier Economics ""This book is the antidote to the email clutter we all dread. If you've ever stared at a blank screen, this is the book that will get your words working."" Prina Shah - author of ""Make Work Meaningful""
