I learned early on, in my teaching career, that having a great classroom culture of positive student behavior was something I had to create and nurture in order to get the best academic outcomes for students. I also learned that it did not matter how much of the academic content I knew if I did not have the behavior management plan that would allow me to teach the content. Because of the effective student teaching experiences that influenced my career, I felt called to write this brief but comprehensive guide for teachers who want to master classroom management and enjoy the countless benefits it brings.
