Reviews

A marvelously beautiful and sensitive book. --Jon Kabat-Zinn, author of Wherever You Go, There You Are If you want to wake up to life as it is while you still can, beginning to sense the breath is a great start. But this book doesn't stop there.... offering simple meditation practices that can bring you into another mode of being--more aware, less stressed, more compassionate, more alive--without having to stop the world and get off. --Mark Williams, Emeritus Professor of Clinical Psychology, University of Oxford The book does not disappoint. In fact, there is a lighthearted joyfulness to it which is sometimes missing in meditation and mindfulness books. If you have family or friends who may have expressed an interest in mindfulness, this little book would make a great introduction and a beautiful gift. -- The Velvet Soapbox The prettiest, most accessible and most beautifully laid-out book on mindfulness I've ever seen. A true delight for the mind and the sense. --Victoria Woodhall, Deputy Editor of Get The Gloss
