Author Information

David O'Connell served in the US Army in Vietnam, received the Bronze Star, and then completed his PhD at Princeton in 1966. He is currently professor emeritus at Georgia State University in Atlanta, where he has taught since 1988. O'Connell has also written about Margaret Mitchell.
