Reviews

This volume is sure to be enthusiastically received into both personal libraries and university syllabi -- Library Journal This volume will find its way to the classics and will have a long life. Essential. -- Choice The guiding principle as to which documents to treat was to 'include everything that a graduate student or scholar working on the apocryphal Gospels would need or want access to.' Ehrman and Plese, professors at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, examined the key historical, literary and textual issues, placing each gospel in its proper context. --Catholic Library World
