Anti-social Media Bill was presented by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 5 November 2019 to condemn the utilization of the web-based media in hawking bogus or malignant information. The first title of the bill is Protection from Internet Falsehood and Manipulations Bill 2019. It was supported by Senator Mohammed Sani Musa from the generally safe northern Nigeria.
