OverviewExcerpt from The Antiquary, Vol. 10 A distinct building, possibly the Prior's house, has stood on the south side of the court, in contiguity to the church. The base of a large projecting window may be traced in the same position as one marked in the plan of the London Charter House. There, however, along the walls of the cor responding building is called the Chapter House. To the west of this building the lava tories are distinctly visible. A two-storied building, lighted with segmental-headed win dows, projects westward beyond the enclosure of the court in the south-west corner. It is difficult to assign its purpose.
