Ashley was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and enjoyed a childhood filled with magical holiday celebrations, daily art projects and long nature walks. Her passion for creativity and storytelling led her to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated with a BFA in Film & Television. Ashley's first picture book, ""Boo, Bat & Pumpkin Throw a Party"", was published by Sunbury Press in 2011, and has since been followed by a number of additional illustrated self publications including two coloring books and multiple picture books including her newest story, written especially for creatives, ""The Angry Artist"". Ashley has a passion for instilling a love for creativity in all children and has been teaching private and small group art lessons for years.
