Barry Cunliffe is Emeritus Professor of European Archaeology at the University of Oxford. He taught archaeology at the Universities of Bristol and Southampton and was Professor of European Archaeology at the University of Oxford from 1972 to 2008, thereafter becoming Emeritus Professor. British-born Julian Elfer is an award-winning New York City-based actor and audiobook narrator. With over fifty titles to his credit, Julian brings a unique facility for characterization in fiction and an empathy for the personalities and events of the past.
