Cheryl R. Lutring is Britain's trail-blazer for the American Saddlebred horse. Having developed a love for the breed in childhood, she followed her vision of making a place for them in Britain. In 1985 she founded a breed registry for them: The American Saddlebred Association of Great Britain - the first in Europe for the breed. On behalf the ASAoGB, Cheryl has orchestrated demonstrations, displays, exhibitions, lectures, training clinics and workshops, as well as initiating awards, classes and introducing specialist shows.
