Author Information

Adrienne Mayor is the author of several books, including The Amazons: Lives and Legends of Warrior Women across the Ancient World and The Poison King: The Life and Legend of Mithradates, Rome's Deadliest Enemy, which was a finalist for the National Book Award. She is a research scholar in classics and the history of science at Stanford University. Fran Tunno has been well known in Los Angeles as a morning radio personality and news reporter for more than fifteen years. She is also the voice of numerous radio and television commercials and has been involved in recording for the audiobook industry for several years.
