Author Information

As a little girl, Lynne Roers had no idea the impact words would have on her life. The youngest of four children in her family, it was not until she reached her twenties that she discovered she was inclined to words through poetry. She continued to write from the heart into her thirties and forties. The acrostic poem of this book was written in her fifties, and she feels it is a pearl in her poetry collection. Lynne's motto is: ""I don't need a lot of words. I just need the right words."" Her desire is to inspire young and old alike to embrace the beauty of words. Tiffany Harris discovered she was an illustrator when she was fourteen. She wrote a story for English class about Gregory, a young mouse who was always losing his glasses. The story came to life when she decided to draw little pants and a raincoat for Gregory (and yes, tiny mouse spectacles). Currently, Tiffany is the award-winning illustrator of the Freddie the Frog(R) series by Sharon Burch (Mystic Publishing), and she also teaches high school art. Tiffany lives on a farm in southeastern Iowa and loves to play with her grandkids, walk in the woods with her dog Finn, and paddle local lakes in her kayak.
