Drecker, Blogger Author InformationLenka Karpkov graduated in physical chemistry and although she spent several years in research, she always preferred talking to people about science than working in a lab. And so she began to focus on popularising natural science, demonstrating experiments, and spreading her enthusiasm. She loves putting on science shows for children as she also has a child-like joy from discovering the world but mainly because children laugh the most at her jokes. When Lenka is not popularising science then it's likely she'll be popularising science anyway for example, at camps and lectures. If she really does have some free time, she watches daft videos at home in Brno, plays video games, and tries to do yoga. Ji Vlach, a trained materials chemist, who instead of making a mess in the lab decided to show the beauty of natural science to everyone. And so for many years now he has been travelling to schools, companies and public events to perform science shows and pass on his enthusiasm for science. When he's not appearing on the other side of the Czech Republic, you'll find him at home in Brno, where in his spare time he creates new experiments, plays about with electronics, his 3D printer and video games, and thinks up silly jokes... Tomas Kopecky is an illustrator of children's books and computer games, working as part of a creative duo with his wife Tereza. He began his career as a pixel art mobile game designer in Prague, and in 2019, he illustrated his first book, A Bug Hotel. In his free time, Tomas enjoys the countryside, mountain biking, skateboarding, board games, and above all spending time with his family, including his two daughters and his dog Karlik.
