JT Habersaat (born February 15, 1976) is an American comedian, author and cult film actor best known as the headliner of the Altercation Punk Comedy Tour. He is currently signed to Dan Schlissel's Stand Up! Records and released an album 'Hostile Corporate Takeover' on the label in March 2013, which featured cover art by renowned Black Flag / Sonic Youth artist Raymond Pettibon. Habersaat previously released a comedy compilation album entitled 'Metal Up Live' on Altercation Records, Inc. of which he is co-owner with Travis Myers. Habersaat was the publisher of the national indie / punk publication Altercation Magazine from 1999-2011. His book 'The Altercation Archives' was released in 2012, gathering personal interviews with musicians such as Joan Jett, Henry Rollins and Mike Patton. His wife Donna Habersaat captured a majority of the publication's impressive live photographs. Habersaat is a frequent collaborator with other 'alternative' comedians including Doug Stanhope, Andy Andrist, Joe Sib, Kyle Kinane, Junior Stopka and Kristine Levine. He is a repeat performer on many national music and comedy festivals, including Fun Fun Fun Fest, Las Vegas' Punk Rock Bowling Festival, Vans Warped Tour, Akumal Comedy Festival Mexico and Hell Yes! Comedy Fest New Orleans. Habersaat also is known to tour with punk rock bands frequently, including Riverboat Gamblers, Off With Their Heads and Billy Milano's MOD. He has appeared on Comedy Central's 'Upright Citizen's Brigade' as well as Troma Films' 'Toxic Avenger 4: Citizen Toxie', which found him playing an angry mob leader opposite adult film star Ron Jeremy. Habersaat also appeared in the 2014 award-winning zombie short '17 Minutes in Texas', and is slated to film a role as a serial killer in the black comedy 'Fun With Hackley: Axe Murderer' in September 2014.
