Author Information

Amy Whitman is an award-winning artist based in northern New Jersey. She has shown her work in New York City, where she had her first solo exhibition in 2019. Though art has always been her passion, Amy's earlier careers included roles as a kindergarten teacher and a mother of two hockey-playing sons. The whimsy and joy of young children have always inspired her work, and this sense of playfulness is reflected in her art.Amy's debut book, The Alphaborbs, was inspired by fond memories of watching birds with her beloved grandmother. Amy lives with her husband, Eric, and their large collection of quirky art.
