Overview

Orion has a secret that only Zoe knows. If only she could remember. But he won't tell her because, well...who wants to be with a 4000 year old alien? Even if he does look seventeen. When his totally unsuitable guardian, Archimedes, forces him to return to East Valley High, he can't help but hope the bond between them is still there. Maybe she will learn to like the human he is struggling to become. Yet nothing goes the way he hopes, especially when Harry Crosby turns up and is turning heads. Maybe even Zoe's? And then there's Jas, who makes it clear she still likes Rion and will stop at nothing to convince him they belong together. As if. Rion's heart belongs to the one person who still doesn't realise their connection. High school, relationships, and dealing with his embarrassing 'Uncle' Archimedes. Who knew that being human could be so hard?

Author Information

Robin Martin has been a writer and a teacher for many years. Originally from Canada, she has lived and worked in several countries, but now lives just outside Brisbane, Australia. Writing has always been her passion, and in recent years she has written several novels and short stories for adults and young adults. When she is not plotting stories, she loves reading everything from cereal boxes to long books that she can get lost in. She finds her inspiration in beach walks along the beautiful Queensland coast; an eclectic music collection that includes Mark Knopfler, ABBA and Mozart; and good coffee, without which she wouldn't be able to function. She and her family are also Star Trek fans, as is evident from The Alien Chronicles series. She has also written adult books, High Stakes and Bonjour Cherie, under the name Robin Thomas and published by Escape Publishing Visit Robin at her author Facebook page https: //www.facebook.com/robinmartinthomas/ or her website, www.robinmartinthomas.com to find out about her other works and to sign up for her newsletter to receive updates on Once an Alien, the next book in The Alien Chronicles series.
