Baron William Drummond Stewart embarks on a mission to confirm the truth about the legendary Philosopher's Stone and the ancient alchemist who created it. The other team will investigate Professor Nicollet's theory about why their enemies covet the stone and search for clues about its maker. The quest will take Stewart to the catacombs of Rome, the foundations of the pyramids, and a hidden Goth fortress deep in the mountains of Transylvania, where they search for an ancient tomb.
