Venus and Erec find a shit ton of Martian Mead on an abandoned space pirate ship. It's addictive, hallucinogenic, and highly illegal. Like... life in universal lockup illegal. Erec thinks they should pretend they never saw it, but Venus knows someone who will take it off their hands... her father, Boone Callahan. When The Barfly dies in the void, Venus and her crew find themselves on a collision course with a massive star, Arcturus. They strip down to stay cool, and Venus and Erec have a moment that probably meant nothing. Right? After a completely unnecessary rescue, Azolla visits her homeworld for the first time. Will she become the prince's side piece, or will the mysterious palace guard sweep her off her... roots? Back on the magic water planet...Venus III? Or maybe it's called something else. Yonec and the Primordials try to claim the river as their own, but Venus is fully prepared to stop them with her... special skills. We take a trip down to Earth for a family dinner with Erec. Then, Venus runs into the masked villain again when he hires her for a solo mission in which Boone is the target. At least Venus saved some Martian Mead for a fun night out, but she and the crew wake up with a wicked hangover, new tattoos, and missing clothes. After retracing their drunken steps, they return to The Barfly to find the owner of the ""abandoned ship"" and its cargo. He isn't really a man. He's a robot, with too many emotions and... vibrating parts. The galaxy's hottest mess is back, and this time, she brought contraband.
