Parker Todd is a young man in a scholar's body. He's charming, smart and has an infectious smile. Parker Todd is truly defying all odds after being diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease at birth. He's been pain crisis-free for more than two years. Parker is a great student, plays sports and is a computer whiz. In 2016, Parker was involved in an Emmy nominated three part story on Pix 11 News called Sickle Cell Disease: A Silent Killer. Parker is also an outspoken advocate for children struggling with the disease.
