OverviewA story about a lonely boy on a quest for friendship. In the wonderful world of The Adventures of Strawberryhead & Gingerbread (TM) series, Strawberryhead and Gingerbread were always up for exciting journeys. And, they had their trusty pet, Solomon, too! But wait! Gingerbread wasn't feeling quite as adventurous. School wasn't his favorite place because making friends felt like climbing a super tall hill. Instead of joining the other kids, Gingerbread longed to stay home with his sister, Strawberryhead and their loyal pet, Solomon. They'd play in the sandbox, tell stories, and laugh together. But Strawberryhead, being the wise big sister she was, knew just what to do. She handed Gingerbread a magical secret weapon-LOVE! And so, armed with his newfound confidence, Gingerbread took a leap of faith. And guess what? Gingerbread's magical weapon worked! Friendships happened! And he learned that sometimes, the best journeys begin with one simple gesture. He is now a senior in college studying environmental science/geographic information science. His hobbies include riding rollercoasters, travel, and hiking.KF and KM Wheatie were raised by their mother, who is a staunch advocate for those with autism spectrum disorder.
