Episode 2 Rukas meets his Best Friend Bird It is another sunny beautiful day and Rukas looks to the hillside, view the trees and the birds above the sky. Nature beckons him to explore Nature. He imagines what the birds above can see below. After walking through his favourite wooded trails, Rukas rests on his hammock for a quiet break and take a child's nap. Rukas' nap is disturbed by loud jarring chainsaw and tree cutting noises from the distance. Suddenly, a blue Yamasemi bird frantically screeches to him for help. Rukas is surprised that this blue Yamasemi bird can talk to him and he Rukas can understand what the bird is saying!. Rufus the blue Yamasemi bird explains to Rukas that the reason he can talk to birds is because the spirit of Nature is inside him. The creatures in the forest know Rukas and his father. They are a family of Nature lovers and protectors. Rukas runs to help Rufus save the trees where birds make their nests. After saving the birds' habitat, Rufus becomes Rukas' best Bird friend.
