Alana serves on the Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) Mid-Atlantic chapter board. Alana and Rhodes met at the University of Virginia. They have been married for seventeen years and live in central Virginia. This is Rhodes and Alana Ritenour's third children's book in the series The Adventures of Rhodes and Alana.
