A very well written children's educational adventure storybook. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great children's educational adventure movie, an animated cartoon, classroom PP presentation, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars. I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one. Thank you for the free author; TNT Publishers LLC; 1 edition; BookZio; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; book Michael Shnayerson - A heartfelt effort to curb bullying. For such a serious subject, Laffe the Giraffe maintains a charmingly sweet tone that will beguile new young readers (and their older siblings). Bullying is a challenge for nearly all parents, and the inclination among many is to confront the bully's parents - or the bully himself. Laffe the Giraffe offers a gentle alternative, one that may leave everyone involved feeling better (including the bully!). All this is set off by Terri Beavers' truly delightful illustrations. Hillary Bercovici - Great anti-bullying book! Beautiful illustrations immediately draw the reader into this short, engaging story of newfound empathy and relational transformation. This book will be a great conversation-starter for kids and their parents who will inevitably encounter bullying both in and out of school, and the sooner the subject is raised, the better. To have Laffe the Giraffe so creatively and artfully illustrated is a wonderful gift on its own, which greatly widens its potential audience. Alison - Fun story about standing up to bullies. Having five kids myself, I enjoyed the fact that this playful story touched on the issue of sibling bullying along with bullying from peers. This story for 6-8 year olds even kept the attention of my 2 & 4 year olds. The illustrations are fun and whimsical - beautiful artwork. My kids were especially intrigued by the encounter with the hyenas! A great book with an anti-bullying message.
