Overview

The book focuses on the life, characters, and adventures of a one-eyed, tailless cat living in an English seaside fishing village. GoAway encounters an assortment of humans and animals that pulls him closer to his past connection to a wondrous character named ""The Ancient One"". Our hero, GoAway, becomes acutely aware that life will test him everyday as he is forced to maneuver between good days and those that take him to the brink of existence. GoAway looks to fulfill the feeling of emptiness, but doesn't have a clue how to find it. Throughout his adventures, he nearly parishes at sea, in the forest fire, and down the well. Cats have nine lives, or do they? The devotion, and love of this cat can only be experienced by a true believer in cats and their spirits. He delivers a sense of purpose and responsibility. Who couldn't love a cat, knowing that you are so special that you were chosen to be their forever parent.
