Overview

The Adventures of Danny Meadow Mouse is a story for children, which narrates what is real beauty and why one should not spend their valuable time in petty things, is written by the Bedtime Story-Man Thornton Waldo Burgess, who is remembered for his numerous writings of children story books. This story narrates the adventures of Danny, who is self-pity on his short tail, and always worried about why their family should have such short tail, while his cousin Whitefoot who has long, slim, and beautiful tail. In fact he was worried too much about his short tail, which leads him to even forget that he has a tail. For all the hungry hunters Danny was a target in the Green Meadows such as the owl Hooty fly just above him, Reddy fox and Granny Fox race him through snow tunnels, and Mr. Blacksnake silently run behind him in the grass. Over all, this story is an interesting read for the children who love nature and the wild creatures.
