Join Yasmine on her adventures, traveling all across the globe with her mother, an ambassador for world adoption; Majid, her handsome protector and tutor; Hiram, her cat soul mate; and Jinn Jinn, her grumpy genie-in-training. On her 10th birthday, Yasmine's mother, Soraya, tells her that they will be traveling the world as she has been designated as a Goodwill Ambassador for International Adoption. Yasmine is whisked away from her Palace in the Land of Laajmir. Their first stop will be Los Angeles - The land of Hollywood, according to her, and they will stay at the Iconic Beverly Hills Hotel. She is accompanied by Majid, her striking, handsome protector and tutor. Hiram- her clever sapphire blue-eyed cat who, if you didn't know better, you'd swear was a miniature panther and Jinn Jinn her newly found secret. A very funny, grumpy young Genie-in-training. Upon her arrival Yasmine cannot find her pink diamond, a family heirloom her grandmother Tavoos had just given her for her 10th birthday. She is at a loss of where it could be but does not want to tell her mother nor Majid. At a charity event, she will meet eleven-year-old Steven, the adopted son of the Hollywood mogul Mr Wilder. Together with Jinn Jinn they will uncover the mystery of the lost priceless heirloom as they tour the city of Los Angeles.

Film producer, director, and writer Yasmine Golchan, who grew-up in Paris and moved to Los Angeles as a teenager, brings her international sensibility to the page with the imaginative children's book, The Adventures of Yasmine in Hollywood.Inspired by her own childhood adventures, traveling around the globe with her mother, Yasmine creates a humorous, magical tale about multi-cultural journeys and characters. She plans to take her character on adventures to many cities around the world in books to come. Artist, Lydia McKee is a London-born digital illustrator and painter based in Los Angeles. She received her BFA in studio art from Chapman University. Lydia is a versatile and whimsical artist with a range of projects from exterior murals to commissions spanning both the digital and physical realms, as well as collaborations with fashion and beauty brands on social media campaigns. In her illustrations, Lydia infuses her work with a playful quality that resonates with readers of all ages.
