Reviews

This edition has been thoroughly updated and illustrated with full-colour photographs and diagrams. * All at Sea * Explains fuel, air, cooling, oil, electrical, propeller, transmission and control systems in short, jargon-free paragraphs. * Yachting Monthly * 'contains all you need to know to provide basic care, maintenance and trouble shooting for your power unit...written by respected marine journalist and engineering guru, Tim Bartlett.' 'It is loaded with 'things to do' and good advice, and has an extremely useful fault-finding chapter. This book is small, yet comprehensive- and it could be a big cost saver for the Diesel owner.' * Sailing Magazine (April 2011) * 'The book is fashioned in an eye-pleasing way with colour photographs to guide you through the process...This is a good primer for any skipper.' * Sailor Magazine (March 2011) * 'Whilst intended for yacht owners it could nonetheless prove of value and interest to fishermen and a very good introduction to diesel engines for anyone with an interest in them.' * Fishing News (May 2011) *
