Overview

When the parents of the three young Davis children are murdered, the Witness Protection Agency has to step in and send them to the only safe place they know of-their middle-aged, widowed relative who lives in Wilkes County, North Carolina. She is a good person; but she has no experience in raising children. We get to meet several other characters as we read along. There's Ray Marsh, who helps Sam Davis out when Sam loses his important government job. There's the very helpful Tammy Cleary, whose landscaping business accidently got advertised as Tam E. Cleary, Landscaping Done God's Way, and just keeps it that way. There's J. R. Wiles, whose extreme shyness prevents him from communicating with folks. There's FBI agent, David Holbrook, who can do almost anything. There's Teresa Lewis, whose beauty and lively personality make her a favorite with the whole neighborhood. There's the unforgettable January Jackson, who turns out to be more than meets the eye at first. And there are the angels. Oh yes, there are the angels, indeed! You'll enjoy this book that's a lot more than a combination of three Christmas plays by Wanda Wingler.
