Employee engagement is the secret to unlocking discretionary effort which drives better sales, profits and shareholder value. The 7 Intuitive Laws of Employee Loyalty lays out a clear plan and inspiring vision to make engagement and loyalty a reality. -- Kevin Kruse author of Employee Engagement 2.0 It is not often in business that we hear the precise voice of the lawyer blended with the seasoned wisdom of a thoughtful business leader. But Heather Younger, J.D., does just that in her new book, as she articulates the psychological contract between employer and employee in a way I have not seen in all my years of research, teaching and writing. Heather understands people, she understands the relationships and expectations, and she has provided leaders with a fresh way to build strong organizations. -- Jim Bohn, PhD, author of The Nuts and Bolts of Leadership and Architects of Change In The 7 Intuitive Laws of Employee Loyalty, Heather R. Younger gives employees a voice. Heather illustrates how leaders often leave employees feeling undervalued and undermined. She provides a real-world perspective based on her own experiences that demonstrates the role and impact that leadership has on employee loyalty. This book is a must have addition to the library of every leader and manager including those aspiring to those positions. -- Liz Stincelli, author of Overcoming Barriers in Your Leadership Heather is an amazing writer. Her use of stories, familiar, and those not so familiar draw you in and bring her point home. If you are seeking effective ways to increase employee loyalty or be a better leader, this is the book for you. Great job, Heather! -- Garion Bunn, author of The Harry Experience Heather's laws of employee loyalty are spot-on. There are many books out there that tell you the why of keeping employees engaged and loyal; Heather goes a step further and provides the guidance and insight for the how (what so many books are lacking). Heather provides real-world examples that resonate as most managers have or will experience these same situations in their careers. There are good reminders throughout the book, and I am also armed with some new insights to test out with my team. Heather's authentic storytelling reveals her passion around team member engagement and makes this a compelling, must-read for anyone wanting to be a leader. - -- Heather Heebner, EVP, Human Resources, Instawares Holding Company
