Charlie Clarke, Author of 'The 5Minute Slim Solution' Hi, my name is Charlie Clarke. During my years as a singing coach I saw how the most talented singers were not automatically the most confident. I learned how to help even the least confident students realize their full potential so they could achieve their desires. A personal trauma robbed me of the ability to sing. I was deeply unhappy and overweight. Diets didn't work. Desperate, drawing on what I had learned from helping my singing students I created the 5 Minute Slim Solution. In just six weeks I had dropped two dress sizes - without dieting or exercising. I was a size 14 going on for 16 (UK). I am now UK size 10. More about Charlie Clarke Born in Hampshire, Charlie was raised in Malaya, Singapore, Germany and a few doors from Jane Austen's home in Chawton. Charlie moved to Basingstoke where she worked as a typesetter in magazine advertising. She went on to editing, copywriting and ghost writing for a publisher in Reading. She also trained in singing with a West End performer before becoming a singing coach. Charlie now lives in rural Wiltshire.
